Course Information

The EN to SN conversion course was initiated in the late 90s under the Open Learning Curriculum. It was then customised to the local scene in 2003 when a radical change in the curriculum was done to attract candidates, hence minimising student attrition rates.

Since the inception of this course a number of Enrolled Nurses took this opportunity to convert to Staff Nurses, which at the moment stands to approximately 500. A total of 23 programmes have been done with the 24th Intake expected this September 2011.
